Have You Ever Thought Of Starting Your Own Business?

Have you ever thought of starting your own business?

It’s done!

(Note:  There is affiliate links that if you click on and buy thru, I will get paid.  This comes at no extra charge to you.)

Have you?

I know I have.

I best I can come up with at this point is a Convertkit business.

They pay you $8 a month for every new person you sign up.  If you buy Convertkit from me, I will hope for your success with it.  The beautiful thing about having a list is that you can sell them anything you want.  Be it an eBook, music, or poetry.  Artists can have a list and make their living off of it.  Have you ever thought of starting a business off your art?

You can do it with Convertkit.  One of the nice things about it is when you send out a broadcast, it tells you how many people open the email.  It also tells you how many people click on the link.  When you are trying to make a living off of your online work, you’ll be working all the time to plant as many seeds as you can, and to make the most of each planting.

I really believe I can make money online.  I really believe I can help people.  I believe you can help people too.  Together we can create an unstoppable money making machine.  Convertkit is one of the products that is the foundation of our online business.  If you’re like me and want to sell the business to others, you can go ahead and market a Convertkit business just like I am.  Go and find your people that want to start their own businesses.  I know my 500 Convertkit customers are out there and that would give me a $4,000 a month income.  Enough to retire from my job happily.  Although I might quit at $1,000 a month and go full time on the blog and see what I can really do with it.  The latter is more likely the outcome.  How much I end up making is in God’s department, but I am praying for sales.

You should pray for sales too.  Why not?  It’s not a bad thing to wish for more good to come into your life.  I wish it for you, why not wish it for yourself.  If you’re going to be doing the work of blogging, you may as well imagine success with it.  Why think yourself a failure?  Leave it up to God.

That’s not to say you should just wish for success.  You should imagine yourself a success and then work everyday to attain that success you imagine.  I imagine having 112 Convertkit buyers that I refer and having a $1,000 a month income just from Convertkit.  I imagine that for you as well.

I also imagine for you that you will be better than me at selling Convertkit.  I’ve been selling it for a few months now and I am still working for my first sale.  You might be able to get your first sale in your first week.  I want you to surpass me in earnings one day.  That way the student does better with their life than the teacher did in his life.  I believe that is the sign of a good teacher.

So go ahead, click on the Convertkit link and buy your list.  When you’ve outdone me and you, you’ll be happy I signed you up.

Cheers!

Write Your First E Book

How To Write An E Book

Write Your First E Book

Writer Extraordinaire

The purpose of this post is to help you write an e book.  Whatever phase your in, writing an e book can be fun.  I like to write short freebies for my list and I find it to be great practice for the real thing when I’m collecting money for my e books.  I am always in the process of writing something, whether it’s my blog, an e book, poetry, songs, or just my journal, so I would be someone who could tell you how to break out of that nasty writers block and do it for the bliss of it.

Of course we want to move past the hobby aspect of blogging and writing and become an expert professional.  We want to be paid.  So we are going to have to solve problems.  That’s what your e book should do for your readers.  It should solve a problem for them in a quick way and make their life better.  Part of the beauty of this process is that you can do it all from home.  You don’t have to leave the house, except for the events.  Just imagine collecting money in your pajamas.

Not that you’d always be wearing pajamas.  You might sometimes be dressed in pants and a nice shirt.  Smelling good.  Feeling good.  Feeling like you could in fact be your own boss and explode your income to heights it’s never been before.  What would the e book look like if you felt that way as you wrote it.

Here’s something that might help you.  Before you write your e book, take 15 minutes and visualize solving a problem with your e book.  Take that time and really see what it looks like to have an e book that your subscribers will get a lot of value from and just do that for 15 minutes prior to writing.  Try it Today!

Back to the subject of how to write an e book, like I’ve already said, you’ve got to solve a problem.  The value for the reader is that you’ve helped them fix their life.  Help somebody fix their life, or add to their life, will gain you more and more subscribers.  Once you get to that 1,000 subscriber mark, you’ll be ready to make your first product launch, and you’ll find out just how much money you can make in your first month.

Then you’ll be writing e books for money, and not just to give more of your valuable content away for free.  Soon, if you choose this path, you’ll be working from home full time, making a full time income.  Nothing succeeds like success and your made of it.  You are after all capable of making money off your blog, so there should be nothing stopping you from making 4 times as much off your own business as you do working for someone else.  The question is would you be satisfied with that, or would you want more?

I’ve been reading Catherine Ponder’s “Dynamic Laws Of Prosperity” and in it one of the affirmations is the following:

EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE PROSPERS ME NOW!

Something I wanted to end this post with, maybe try using it when your relaxing in your down time.

3 More Email Subscribers

3 More Email Subscribers

3 More Email Subscribers

You’ve Got More Subscribers!

This is a personal blog.  It is also a business blog.  I’ve been doing a lot of reading lately.  This blog is going to be taking on new life.

Some of what I’ve discovered is that when you’re selling something (which if your blog is a business you are going to be doing) you’ve got to drop your ego and become centered around what your prospect wants.  What do the people you are selling to want?  This is what I’m thinking of when I write about getting 3 more email subscribers on my list.

This, as I mentioned, is a personal blog.  It is also about business.  So I wanted to share my personal journey about my business with you by letting you in on a little secret.  I got 3 more subscribers.  It was a matter of me putting myself out there with video, and showing it to someone I knew.  A coworker.  She signed up on the spot, and on top of that she also shared my video with her social network and I got 2 more subscribers!  Talk about progress!  When your list is only at 8 people and you get 3 more in a matter of a few days, it feels incredible.  When it took you a year and 9 months to get 8 people, you cheer when you get three in a row.  It may sound like I’m not getting results with the numbers I’m working with but if your thinking that you’re missing the big picture.

I am producing a result with this blog, and if your on my email list, your taking the journey with me.  Just know by me sharing my personal story my goal is to help you blog.  If I can do it, surely you can do it too.  My main message I’m going to be coming across with is that there is no better way to develop personally and professionally than by blogging.   That’s just what I believe when I think over what can be done for personal and professional development.  I’d love to hear what you think about that in the comments of this post.  That is if they are still open when you get here.  Although there are other ways of contacting me if you would like me to hear what you have to say.  I’m open to that.

To be honest I wish I would have asked my coworker that signed up if it would be alright if I used her name in this post (sort of to make her famous) before I started writing it.  I don’t like using people’s names, I’ve never said where I worked other than it was a ham store, and I like protecting people’s identities.  But as I’ve said, I’ve been doing some reading, and what I’ve found is that your readers like it when you make them famous by writing about them on your blog.  It adds to their own personal brand.  It’s valuable to them.  I don’t think I would do it without asking them first though.  Suffice to say, I have another subscriber and she brought 2 more people along with her.  It’s a small victory, but a victory non the less.

I know you’ve got to be thinking to yourself, Jess, if you’ve been blogging for almost 2 years and you’ve only got 11 subscribers then what chance do I have of starting a blogging business and becoming profitable now?

Well, I’m not claiming to know all the answers, but I will tell you that blogging is a long term game.  Most blogs aren’t profitable until they are almost 3 years old (according to Darren Rowse of Problogger).  When blogs do make money though, they can make a million dollars a year like Pat Flynn does at SmartPassiveIncome.com.  It’s all in how well you do it.

You and I may never make a million dollars a year spreading our own unique message to the world.  But we could make something!  I’ve heard on a podcast that you can consider every subscriber you have to be worth one dollar a month.  If you get into that game, every subscriber you get is worth something to you, so each one, even when you only have a few, is awesome to get.   It’s a marvelous game.  This is part of the beauty of blogging.  This is part of my message that blogging is the best way to develop personally and professionally.  It’s fulfilling and it’s all yours.  It’s your very own business.

So even if your a schizophrenic, or you just have challenges with life, you can build a business at your own pace, be it working 4 hours a day, or just 4 hours a week on your blog, spreading your message (of course with copious amounts of love in it) to the entire world and live a fulfilling life.  The best part is it only costs $40 a month to do so.  Get hosting through GoDaddy and get your email list from Convertkit.  That’s all you need maybe other than a bumper sticker and some business cards that have your website on it.  Do the rest for free on social media.  Bada bing bada boom, you’ve got yourself business to work on.

Part of the beauty of blogging being the best way to develop personally and professionally is you can do it everyday in every way.  You can do it while your working your day job by talking to the people you work with about it!  I would advise you not talk about it to the point where you are annoying them, but you can definitely creatively work it into some conversations here and there and get real time feedback on how to make your work better (that is if their feedback is constructive).

If you are finding yourself wanting to blog right now, to blog your message to the world, I can say I’ve done my job.  I’ve got myself 3 more subscribers.  How many subscribers do you think you could get in your first week after just a few blog posts, just telling the people you work with about it?  Maybe it’s a lot more than I can do.

I would love to hear your feedback on how many people you think you could get in your first week.  All you have to do to get in instant contact with me is to subscribe to my email list.  You’ll get a free ebook, and updates to this site.  Be sure you subscribe and if you ever have anything to say just reply to one of the emails I send you.  I’ll be sure to write back.

Yours Truly,

Jesse Creel

Why Entrepreneurs Who Love Blogging Should Have An Email List

From what I’ve learned, the best way to start a business online is to build an email list.  Once you have your list of 2,000 people you can start a business of any kind that you like.  And you’ll have warm leads (your list) that already like you.  I’ve experienced sales and I can tell you it’s a lot easier to sell to people that already like you.

Any really, you could sell anything.  By the time you’ve reached the landmark of 2,000 subscribers and are ready to start a business, you’ll have just learned everything you need to know to create a product of your own.  The experience of building the list gives you the learning you need to be able to coach or teach someone else, with no list, how to do the same thing.  You could write a $10 ebook (or several) on the subject.

Or maybe you want to build a list around your passion for saving money and being thrifty.  Maybe fashion?  Maybe sports?  Maybe food and dining?  Maybe travel?

Whatever it is your writing about, having a list of people that subscribe to your blog is a massive asset and should be treated like gold once you have them.  Your best treatment.  Like all you want to do is make their day better by serving them in an excellent way.  That really is the point of the list, so you can be of better service to the people on your list.  I find that I personally get the best results with service to others in the forefront of my mind.

That said, here are “7 Reasons Why Entrepreneurs Who Love Blogging Should Have An Email List”.

Email List

Why Entrepreneurs Who Love Blogging Should Have An Email List.

7 Reasons Why Entrepreneurs Who Love Blogging Should Have An Email List

1. It’s A Good Act Of Service

When your in business for yourself your not going to make any money unless your of service to people, but it’s not about the money.  It’s about what it feels like to help people.  It makes you feel good, it has health benefits that you can feel, and it makes you a contributor to the evolution of humanity.  When we are being of service we are co-evolving with the people we’re around.  Like co-creation co-evolving includes other people and even the universe to assist humanity in evolving and I say having an email list with subscribers is included in the ways one could aid humanity in the process of evolving.

2. It’s Like A Second Job: It Gives You Something Constructive To Do With Your Time

When your building a list, it’s going to take time, constructive time.  In May of 2016 I started this blog.  I started an email list maybe a year in.  I have 8 subscribers and it took a lot of hard work to get every one of them.  I love them.  Sometimes I only wrote once a month (though those days are over) which might explain why my growth has been so slow.  I however have gone through periods where I’ve posted everyday, and a lot of periods where I would just work on a post every couple days.  Still I have only 8 subscribers.  It takes the effort of a second job to build a list.  But through personal development, and actually picking up a second job, I’ve learned that blogging is my highest calling for work and worst case scenario I will leave a massive legacy of creative work behind and that is (in my humble opinion) still a great accomplishment.  Though if your blogging like it is a second job, and build your list with vigor, you could end up with a real business on your hands.

3. Keeping A Relationship With Your List Is Fun

It’s fun to write an email to your list.  Personally, and in the name of personal development, I like to write a new piece of writing just for the list each time I mail it to them.  I get to explain like never before and only to the people on my list what my blog posts are all about.  I think it’s best that we are totally in love with our blogs and therefore our lists.  We should love our lists the best we can.  That’s what I do, and so far it’s working great for me, and I’m even getting feedback from them.  If every subscriber is worth 1 dollar a month on average, I’d be making 8 dollars a month!  That’s real work from home income.  And my list is going to pay me at some point in the future because I’ve earned their trust in me to deliver.  And we should deliver by writing a post every two days until you reach about 10 solid posts you can be proud of.  Then update your free incentive ebook to reflect your best writing.  Then market the hell out of your website.  See what kinds of conversion rates you get with your traffic.  How many subscribers did you get, how many sales?  Improve until it’s perfect, and you are exactly where you want to be.  That’s fun.

4. Email Lists Drive Traffic To Your Website

Say you’ve written 3 blog posts, and you really love two of them, send the two out of three blog posts to your list, even if you only have a couple of subscribers.  This way your sending them only your best content and it’s in a unique message.  By unique message I mean something you haven’t already written.  Something fresh just for your list.  That way they are getting treated better than someone who isn’t on your list.  All in all, you are going to get some clicks in your emails, and there will be people that read what you’ve written.  Isn’t that cool?  It’ll be even better when you’re getting paid for it.  Still, just having a list is a cool thing, and one of the beauties is that you can have you’re blog and your list for about $40 a month.  The expensive part is the list as that’s $30 a month if your just starting out.  But running a business costs money, just think how much McDonalds pays to keep it’s doors open on the stores that are 24/7.  Gotta pay employees.  If you think about it 40 dollars isn’t much to have a business for yourself.  I myself am even getting ready to buy some ads for this site to boost sales, and earn me subscribers so I’m going to spending a little more than $40 a month on this site.  First I’m going to get some coaching, so there’s going to be a lot of excitement coming up for this blog.  But every time you email your list, you have the opportunity to bring traffic to your site, and an opportunity for growth.

5. Seeing Your Subscriber Count Grow Is Motivating

Knowing that when you reach 2,000 subscribers you will know what you need to know to launch a business to the world.  Growing towards that can be difficult but it can also be motivating.  Motivating to get the next few subscribers.  You’ll eventually get there.  Just got to keep taking action.  And seeing results is motivating.  Then you further have something to work on, which is maintaining and improving the relationship with those people that are on your list.  As I mentioned above I’ll be buying some ads this year, but not before I get coached.  I’m going to go through Tony Robbins.  I heard you could get coached for 200 dollars.  I’ll keep you updated on how it goes on my email list, with getting coached, buying ads, selling Convertkit, getting subscribers, and selling ebooks.  These are the plans I have laid for building an email list.  I figure with 112 Convertkit buyers I’ll be making as much off my blog as I make at my job.  When I’m making 10X what I make at my job, then I’ll quit and take the Holidays off every year.  Currently, I work my longest, hardest hours during the Holidays every year.  I know when I see my subscriber count go from 2 to 5 to 8 I get happy, and I get motivated to keep it coming in.

6. You Get To Know What Those Closest To You Think About Your Website

When your first starting your list, what I recommend you do, to build the list, and to gain some confidence, is to ask you close friends and family to join the list.  It can only help.  I’m not saying you have to ask everyone, but start to work the question into your conversations with people, especially the people your comfortable with and get some subscribers.  Easy subscribers.  This prepares you for the more challenging asks, maybe even more fun, is asking the guy you buy gas from to visit your website and giving him your business card.  When your asking your promoting, and we have to promote out in the world as well as from home.  Word of mouth can be powerful advertising but in order for that to work, you have to work.  So there’s work involved in creating buzz and getting word of mouth advertising.  It also happens on Facebook.  Still, when you ask a friend to be on, and he’s your first man, that’s a landmark.  Blogging and building an email list makes me personally happy.  My mission is to show how happy blogging can make somebody with the world.  That said I need to get off my island and get a coach.  But that said, having a close friend on your list, by simply asking them to do so, can only help you.

7.  You Can Build A Business Around A List

Anything becomes possible around content marketing.  I’m talking reaching status quo would be 7 different streams of income just off one’s blog.  Maybe they only make a million a year between all of them.  But your working and making a million a year.  Granted you’ve got to be really really good with people.  Really, you could sell anything you wanted to your list once you had 2,000 people’s attention [though it would probably take a lot more than 2,000 subscribers to earn a million a year].  Books, courses, membership sites (where you get a monthly passive income), all these things you could create all from your imagination and taking the right massive actions.  Conscious on a spiritual as well as a business level.  Being helpful.  Building a list. You could even sell network marketing if you wanted to.  As for me, I’m thinking I’ll go with selling my own ebooks, and eventually get a published physical book.  Granted it’s ONLY my imagination, but that said I am taking massive action everyday.  I call it massive anyways.

Conclusion

In my estimation, one could build a very profitable business with an email list.  I can’t yet explain the details to you of how to make money with it, but I can tell you that I happily pay $40 every month for the privilege to be able to blog and build a business.

If you would like to sign up for my email list, you can do so anywhere on this site.

The Benefits Of Working While Your Trying To Start A Blogging Business

Working On The Computer For Income Would Be Sweet!

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could make thousands of dollars a month, from home, in our pajamas…

I have a list of 7 reasons why working while your starting your blogging business is a good idea.  I wanted to share them here with you now.  I myself and successfully working and blogging, and even have an email subscriber, so I wanted to let you know I’m right there in the trenches with you.  If you are working and trying to build a business around blogging then maybe this might be just the inspiration you need to write that next outstanding blog post and keep going on your adventure.  I’ve been playing with the idea of visualizing while I’m working to kill two birds with one stone.  So as I’m writing this I’m visualizing making thousands of dollars in my pajamas at home.  It could be this post that does it for me.  If you like it, maybe you should subscribe.  I promise it’s going to be a win win for the both of us.

Without further adue, here are the reasons:

1. Income to Live

We all need money to live.  Money for ourselves, money for our family, money for charity, money for bills.  It’s not easy to start a blogging business so you had better have some income in place to pay the rent.  Granted, it’s not much to start and maintain a blogging business, something like $40 a month, with an email list and the website.  Your going to have to get that money from somewhere, and that place should have no limit to how long you can work there.  The result:  money comes in on a regular basis and you can pay to have your business, and to live.  I don’t think money is everything, I do think that it helps.

2. Blogging Sometimes Comes At It’s Own Pace

You could get all excited when you first start your blog and blog everyday for a month and then stop for 3 weeks.  You should strive to write on a regular basis with consistency but sometimes it’s hard.  When your on that learning curve it’s best to have something in place, a place you have to go to 5 days a week that gives you a break from your blogging business.  You may not get much in terms of results at first and it could kill your motivation to press on and continue forward.  It’s so important that you press on and reach your peak performance with posting on a regular basis and putting real work into your website.  Just know that it’s good to have something to fall back on when your not quite making money yet.

3.  Work Can Give You Something To Write About

I’ve written quite a lot about work and the challenges of schizophrenia.  Blogging can be a personal growth tool.  Write what’s on your mind until you figure out how you want to help people.  It might be slow coming, but just know by you visualizing and taking action your creating a better life for yourself, your family, and the world.  The point here is just to write.  Work can be something good to write about.  Especially if you love what you do.  Work does allow us to live, and what’s better than talking about what’s keeping you alive.  It’s a blessing and we should be making an attempt to talk about and feel the good things in life.  So if work is a passion of yours, write a helpful blog post about your job and teach us all the things you’ve learned.  Writing about work can be a great tool for personal development.

4. Work Can Give You Successful Experiences You Can Translate To Success With Your Blog

By writing about your experiences at work, you’ll free yourself to new levels of enthusiasm about blogging.  You’ll find, yes you would rather work in your pajamas with coffee in the morning.  Work on your blog!  Doing the grind work can be beneficial in getting to know people and how you can work better with them.

If you have nothing else to talk about, why not talk about your successes at work.  Write about it.  Get that email list up there and starting writing “Pillar content”  which as Ruth Soukup describes in her book “How To Blog For Profit Without Selling Your Soul” is any content that draws traffic.  Write awesome posts that get traffic.  As you write your business will unfold.

5.  It Takes Time To Build Your List

Yes, my friends, it takes time.  How much time it takes I believe is relative to how much action you take on blogging and building your website.  When your working a job you’ve got to be really inspired and dedicated to working on your website and blogging or your just going to lay on the couch on your hours off.  I think it’s best we work until we get where we want to be, so I say work at home when your done working your job.  Do it until the job is done.  If you want to make $200,000 a year from your blog, then don’t stop until it’s there.  Even if it takes you over a year to get your first subscriber, you are still in it for the long haul because you believe that blogging takes life to the next level.  Do it for me, do it for you, and take the time necessary to build your 2,000 subscriber list.  It’s going to take time, so that’s why it’s a good idea to be working, in case it takes a while for it to work out.

6.  Your Free Time Is Plenty Of Time To Build A Business

If you work 40 hours a week, you should still, even if you didn’t work weekends, be able to devote 5 hours a week to your blogging business.  That’s only an hour a day.  I don’t know if you have heard but there’s a book called “The 4 Hour Workweek” by Tim Ferriss and it’s about how you can run a business with very little time.  The rest of your time, because your business isn’t off the ground yet, is spent working, raising your family, doing housework, and living a healthy life but you can’t say you don’t have 5 hours a week to build a business.  That should be plenty of time to get even a post 5 times a week!  Or one long form content post a week.  We are looking for those traffic bringers so whatever gets you the most traffic and ultimately, subscribers and sales.  So even if you work it for only 5 hours a week after 10 years that’s going to be alot of posts, and you’ll be a master writer at that point… after doing it for 10 years.  Just invest the time when your not working, and it’s going to pay off in personal growth, that much I can promise you.

7.  Working For Someone Else Will Make Working In Your Pajamas That Much Better

Just think of sipping your coffee in your pajamas, writing your next Pillar piece.  One you know will get you subscribers, and one you know will eventually result in sales.  Having spent that time working from someone else, taking someone elses orders,  being afraid of them because they could take your job away from you…. all that will be over.  You spent quality time working with people, an experience no one could ever take away from you.  You are a better person for working that good experience in the industry.  As Mike Dooley says, you’ll look on those days you struggled with fondness.  We all just have to keep writing.

Conclusion

So considering you have plenty of free time, and want to earn more money, I say blogging is for you.  You don’t have to take my word for it, just try it and see how you like it.  When your starting a business, like I am, you might want to keep your day job, until you start making money.  There are a lot of advantages to doing it this way.  If you liked this post, please subscribe to my email list.  You will be happy you did!

A Pause From My New Book, Reflections, And A Poem

I’ve started a new book.  It’s called “Love, Sex, Marriage, Babies, and Schizophrenia”.  It’s no coincidence that those things all happened in that order.

I started it yesterday, and I’m going to write like I have the fury in me, over the course of the next few weeks.  I’ll be drinking and writing, and having the time of my life.

I just wanted to write this for you to let you know I’ve been doing something.  I haven’t really been paying much attention to this blog, and it’s a disservice to you and me.  That’s why I wanted to come to you to write today to let you know what’s happening with Jesse Creel.

A lot of what’s been covered on my blog has been about employment and working even though you have schizophrenia.  Although I will always be writing about what it’s like to have schizophrenia, I may not continue to write about work.  Not for someone else at any rate.  I like to think of myself as a businessman, and I’m in business for myself.

In all reality though, I am a worker.  That’s what allows me to try and start a business.  If I couldn’t pay what I needed to pay, this blog, my book, my rock and roll songs, wouldn’t be possible.  The point though is to work my way out of working, and live an abundant and joyful life with my family.

I’ve been trying for many months to make a business out of this blog and I’m not getting the results I’m looking for.  I’ve been reading and trying to refine my idea so that I can see “Will It Fly”.  I might take the focus off working an hourly job, because you know that working an hourly job isn’t as good as barely working and having stacks of cash.  I think I may take a try at writing for entertainment purposes only, instead of self help.  See what kinds of results I can get when I’m writing about say for instance, marriage or sex.

All I know is that I have to keep the action going.  I’ve been visualizing, but the zest really comes from the action of writing, so I’ve got to keep it going there.

The reflections are that work is work, and really, I’d rather be doing something else.  I’d rather be writing.

I’ve written about my expectation of winning a massive jackpot, and my new and further expectation is that my new book will be a New York Times Bestseller.  I talk a big game, and I don’t know anything else to do but die or do it and I’m still alive.  So I must be doing it.  I just say one should dream big.

So I’m going to keep this blog, and I’m going to keep my email list, and if you haven’t yet signed up for it, do that now.

I don’t know when the next post is going to be, but I want you to know that this won’t be the last time I write you.  I’m keeping you in mind, and I want to help, if only just to entertain you.

So I leave you with a poem I’m writing just right now…

Ode To Work

Oh work, how you make me live

Oh work, how you allow me to give

Oh work, you give me my money

Oh work, I think of you even when your not there

Oh boss, I love you

Oh boss, You’ve given me a chance

Oh boss, I want to do right by you

Oh boss, thank you for a job

Oh worker, do your job

Oh worker, I respect you

Oh worker, would you like a cigarette

Oh worker, will you come back next year

Oh job, I’m going to retire you

Oh job, I’m going to be a millionaire

Oh job, thank you for all you’ve done for me

How Do You Finance Your Dreams Of Blogging For Income?

Work Hourly.

Right now I’m paying $40 a month to keep this website running, and to keep a list up on my site.

It costs 10 dollars a month for the site, and 30 dollars a month for the email list.

That’s not too bad considering you could be paying a lot more to be part of a network marketing company.

And maybe I will join another network marketing company, when my list gets big enough.  I may want to sell the Empower Network again.  Only this time I’m blogging on my own domain, and not on the Empower Network blog.

Because that’s what I would tell you to do if you joined the Empower Network with me.  The information is worth the price, and you can learn a lot by being apart of the Empower Network.  I propose that even if you never resold anything, you will still get your monies worth.

But I am in the business of creating profits.  So I want to sell things, and I want you to sell things and I am looking to be a part of the business of selling information.  I say if you don’t want to spend the money on Network Marketing, then you could build your business from scratch by starting your own blog.

And that’s what I do.

I work hourly 5 days a week and I earn my pay.  I don’t get paid that much because most anyone could do the work I’m doing but I’m still improving enough, and providing enough value to get raises and bonuses.  So I’m doing good at my hourly job.  If you want to learn how you can duplicate my success with your hourly job and increase your pay, you can read Success Hourly, my free e book.

So say you’ve got your hourly job, and you’ve read Success Hourly, and are on your way to getting raises there, then you may still want more!  You may want to take what you earn per year and turn that into your monthly income.  I say it can be done!  And you can do it online.  And it all starts with blogging.

So I work my hourly job and I read and write with my free time, along with taking care of my family.  It’s a good life and who knows, when I’ve finally made it with an online business I might STILL want to keep working my hourly job.  Although I probably will take the time and spend more of myself on the writing.

So I’m secure.  Nothing is going to stop me from making it online.  I plan to make it BIG.  When I do my focus is going to shift from helping people work their hourly jobs, to helping people blog and make money off e books and network marketing.

Because think of it, if you had an e book for sale and it did well, that would be an easy transition into network marketing.  You would already have a list and a body of work to support your efforts in whatever you choose to do.  It’s really a win win.  I say don’t settle for less.  Make more!  Earn more!

And it doesn’t take much money to get a business going.  I’m paying 40 dollars a month and that’s what I need to blog and get a list going.  And I can easily pay for that by working a few hours each week.  And if you consider the potential returns, you’re really risking very little with A LOT to gain.

But today was a good day.  I started at 10am this morning cutting ham off the bone and turning the ham into portions for sandwiches.  I spent two hours doing that, then I was sent to the other two stores, driving the box truck, to drop off bacon and crackers.  That took me about 3 hours.  I spent another hour in the store after I got back from my trip and I got off at 4pm.  A good six hours.  I got paid today!

And there will be plenty more where that came from.  The place I work at will have me for as long as I want to stay there, and that’s a good thing, because with blogging and starting a business online, you really could be looking at years before you start to get any results.

The way I look at it is, you have to put about 10 years of it in before you can say you’ve mastered it.  And I definitely want to master blogging.  So I’ve really got another 8 years to go before I reach that time frame.  Chances are I’ll make my first dollar before I’ve mastered blogging, and that’s a good thing, because I can learn as I go.

Because I say you can be at any point in your business development and STILL be able to provide value to the reader.  So it doesn’t matter if you’ve never blogged before, you can get started today for very little money.

And if you want to free yourself from your job, like me, that’s exactly what you’ll do.  And you’ll work it, day in, day out, really adding the bam bam bam bam to everything you do, and you’ll be a better person because of it.  I say the more work you put in the better.  David Wood of the Empower Network recommends you blog daily.  I don’t do that much, but I do post on a regular basis.  If you want to get updates on this site, put your email address in and subscribe.  I’ll send you out the link to the latest post so you know when one is up.

And you can come back and get more inspiration!

I just wanted to write this to you to let you know that you can put your money to good use by blogging and starting a business online.  And that your investment in yourself could really produce a return.  But you’ve got to keep working your hourly job to support yourself in the meantime, but hey, who knows, with enough daily work you could be free in no time.  But really though, it will probably take you a number of years to make any money at all.

But I know it can be done because there are examples of it all over the internet.  You can make money blogging and selling e books!  All it takes is some time everyday, a work ethic, a little money, and a big ambition.  And you can run your blog and work an hourly job at the same time!  There’s really nothing to lose.

So go now and write your blog.  Write your e books.  Get your list up.  Read books.  Take action and improve your life!  Have a beer and drink to your health, wealth, and wisdom.  Here’s to your success!  Cheers!
