The Mountaintop of 9 Million Dollars A Year

I wanted to name my blog “The Blog About Blogging” because I want it to be a resource people can come to in order to find the inspiration to blog today.  And blog well.

The funny thing about blogging is that it’s what’s on your mind.  How would you be able to write about anything else?  The issue is to make the things on your mind about good things.  At least it is for me.  I imagine my experience is like everyone else’s experience, except with my own unique twist.  As is yours.  It’s our own unique twists.  We’re all sharing the same experience.

Granted some are more far out there than others.  I can say truthfully, mine is pretty far out there.  As far out there as one of the few jackpot winners, or something better.  If you could make 9 million dollars a year off your blog for the rest of your life, that would be better than getting 9 million dollars a year for 25 years from the lottery.  It can be done.

But this blog is about blogging.  It’s about becoming a professional blogger (whenever that happens).  It’s about the mission to make $1,000 a month off a Convertkit business.  I figure if I put it out there that I want 112 Convertkit referrals then there’s a better chance I’ll GET 112 Convertkit referrals.  It’s all about the law of attraction, part of the reason I love writing and blogging.  Because it appeals to the law of attraction.  Like attracts like.  If you write like a millionaire then there’s no stopping the millions coming in, let alone a $1,000 a month income.

But really all this could be crap and I could just be writing for the hobby of it.  Not that that is going to stop me from opening up these channels of expression, where money could come into my life, at these common hours where I’m just doing nothing.

But i’m not going to be doing nothing.  I’m going to be blogging.  Blogging because I have a mission and a message.  That’s what this blog is really all about.  It’s about helping people blog everyday, to build their brand, and make more money.

When it comes to a blog about blogging why not write about your day job.  That could help somebody.  Could let them in on what your doing to make your income.  In my case it’s not even hard to make an income, except on those occasions when it is.  This is really not meant to be a random rant, but more a message to you that you too can blog.  And it can be a meaningful experience to you.

All I know is that more posts, the more chances you have at getting some traffic, so I say, blog on.  Of course you want to be reading other people’s blogs too, and commenting on them, and even asking bloggers if you can guest post for them.  These are the things I’ve learned that will help you to stand out as a blogger at this point.  So far I’ve commented some, written a lot, and haven’t yet asked anyone if I can guest post on their site.  I have that one in the works.

But I’ve got to find a way to get some natural traffic to this site.  I need a lot more subscribers, and a lot more clicks on my ads, and a lot more traffic.  I know I can do this, I’ve just got to take baby steps.  Working from home, even when your making no money, can still be a rocking time.  It would be a lot more rocking if you got your first commission, but I think you and me can do that together, blogging.

And doing all the other things that come along with building a business from scratch, like passing out your business cards to anyone that will take one.  Another being working your day job like your life depends on it, because it does!

The way I see it is, you put enough work into your blog, it’s going to pay you.  The way I see it is, you’ve got a solid 2 years of content creation before you even make a cent so you may as well get busy writing.  It’s beautiful anyway.  You may as well enjoy the writing.  Put that work in though, I believe we all have a $1,000 a month business in us.

You may call me too optimistic, but the way I see it is, the future is bright, brighter than comprehension.  We are all getting better everyday, and you can smell it.  It smells like sweat.  It smells like lazy creativeness.  It smells like your loving money.  It smells like you’ve got a savings account.  It smells like you can spend money.  It smells like you’re for the highest good of all you encounter.

You may say this is too far out there.  I challenge you to go with the flow and be destined for success.  Whether it’s in your day job, the lottery, or your blog you can have success in all of those things.  Just remember that things work on God’s time, so don’t expect it to happen on your time, but it will happen on God’s time.

Blogging about blogging is freeing.  You can say anything you want.  You can be a Youpreneur.  You can build your own personal brand.  You can get everyone you know on your email list and get so good at writing that they have to tell their friends about it, and then you will grow more.  It will snowball all the way down the hill.  Part of the reason, blogging, and life really, is so attractive.  Especially when your working towards something.  Taking baby steps.  Taking action.  It’s really really nice.

1,000 words is nothing in what you mean to me as a reader.  I’m going to have books for sale, one thing I’m working on is reading all the books I’m buying myself, but there’s going to be plenty of me to entertain, inspire, and delight you.  I encourage you to sign up for my email list, if you haven’t already.  Watch this video and put your email address in the box.  You’ll get only my best stuff sent right to your inbox.  I promise you’ll be happy you did.
